Buyers of Standing Timber
Timber is sometimes overlooked as a cash crop. As with any crop it must be harvested in order to benefit the owner.

North Central Ohio is known to produce some of the finest hardwood timber in the world. The Oak, Walnut, Maple, Cherry, Ash and Poplar trees are highly sought for the quality lumber they produce. As trees age past their prime they can diminish in value due to disease and insect infestation.
Lattasburg LumberWorks is a lumber and Moulding operation located outside Lattasburg, Ohio. We are seeking high quality timber in the surrounding area.
Evaluation of timber is available with no obligation. After an initial cruise of the woods, all the trees of interest are marked with paint and the customer is given a firm price. If the landowner is interested in selling, the mutually agreed terms are placed in a written contract with 10% down upon signing and the balance paid in full before any trees are cut.

Lattasburg LumberWorks is a member of the Ohio Forestry Association (OFA). The employees attend continuing education classes offered through the OFA to stay abreast of current issues such as the Emerald Ash Borer, Woodland stewardship & selective harvesting. Contact Us if interested.
